ArcGIS 10 years, 9 months agoI’m finding ArcGIS.com to be very useful in cases where the Town needs to determine whether a trail is on public land or private land. In the past, personnel from our Conservation Department would send me GPX files collected from the field & I would have to go through a process of converting the data, then making a map with all of the appropriate layers. ArcGIS.com now includes the capability to upload a GPX file, which can be added to a map along with any other layers from available map services. Here’s an example of a nice interactive web-based map that I made in about 10 minutes.
